Challenge
Tucked away in the heart of San Gabriel, California, where historic missions meet boba shops and palm trees, the Olive Branch Apartments were getting ready to welcome a new tenant. But there was one small problem — the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been refreshed since flip phones were cutting-edge technology.
The old fixtures had seen years of use, the surfaces had lost their shine, and the overall vibe leaned more “long-term storage” than “move-in ready.” With new tenants on the way, the property managers knew the bathroom needed a serious upgrade — fast, functional, and stylish enough to make a great first impression.
That’s where ACR Construction stepped in, ready to turn this dated space into a modern-day oasis.
Solution
Armed with precision, creativity, and a healthy respect for San Gabriel’s rich mix of tradition and progress, our team set out to remodel the bathroom from the ground up.
We stripped away the tired old materials, replaced outdated fixtures, and installed fresh, modern finishes that brought new energy into the space. Every element — from sleek wall surrounds to the clean new tub and elegant fixtures — was designed for both style and easy maintenance, ensuring that this apartment’s new tenant could enjoy comfort without compromise.
And because this is Southern California, we made sure the design reflected that signature SoCal brightness — light, airy, and welcoming, like a perfect San Gabriel morning after a week of sunshine.
Outcome
The transformation was nothing short of refreshing. What was once a tired, utilitarian bathroom became a modern, inviting retreat — the kind of space that makes you say, “I could live here,” before even seeing the rest of the apartment.
The newly remodeled bathroom doesn’t just look good; it’s durable, easy to maintain, and ready for years of daily use. The property manager was thrilled, the new tenant even more so, and the Olive Branch Apartments now have another beautiful example of how thoughtful upgrades can breathe new life into older spaces.
In a city known for blending old-world charm with new beginnings, ACR Construction delivered exactly that — a bathroom remodel that balances timeless comfort with a fresh, modern touch.
